Otis & Louie started grooming dogs and the occasional cat February 2007. Otis and Louie met as pups and begun a friendship inspiring Annelies van der Poel [Website Link to Annelies van der Poel website] to name the shop in their honour. Otis is a smooth coat Griffon and Louie is a mini/toy poodle.

The aim of Otis & Louie was to create both a human and dog-friendly environment: Clean and hygienic, using only natural shampoos and products on the dogs. No-one wants to go to a hairdresser’s and sit amongst the previous client’s hair. It is the same for dogs and their parents.

All Otis & Louie doggy clients are treated with as much love as their owner’s do. We listen to the customer; take note of what is wanted, and if in doubt, take off less.

Otis & Louie are located in the Wellington suburb of Northland. The shop offers as it's primary focus a dog grooming service that has quickly been recognised for friendly, excellent service and quality grooming and advice for your loved furry pet.

Finding it hard to get a grooming appointment, there is no need to wait an extended period of time to get your pet groomed. The grooming service operates Tuesday - Saturday, 9am - 5.30pm, and Monday by appointment. Bookings are required, and we can always squeeze a pet in. Payment by EFTPOS and CREDIT CARD facilities available.
